How to post bitstrips to blog
- publish bitstrip (at bottom below comic)
- choose share icon (at bottom of comic strip)
- copy embed code from Blog/Post It (beneath comic -- strip viewer or image is up to you, I do not have a preference)
- go to blogger, and sign in
- create new post
- copy embed code into body of post (some said they had to choose edit html tab to get it to post)
- create title
- publish post

Ready, Set, Go!!
I have talked to y’all about being a team. This will be your “home.”
Each week we will have a blogging assignment. My plan is to start off simply and build our skills as we go. In the next couple of week I will be adding you as an author on this site, so eventually you will be responsible for adding new posts. This week all you have to do is find the blog and answer the following question as a comment on this post by Friday (9/3) at 3:30pm.
What is one thing that you have learned this week (or last week) that you will need to remeber in May for the test AND what is your trick for how are you going to remember it?

Blackboard help
In case you can't wait and happen to look at the blog. I have gotten answers for you about the blackboard issues. Once you have logged into cougar web, choose My Courses. Under my courses click where it says "click here to:" - may be slow and look like its not working, try again. Under my blackboard, click on the class again.

The End of a Year ...
It has been the most unusual of years for me. I never thought that I would have to miss so much school this year due to complications with the pregnancy and baby. I am very proud of all my AP biology students who chose to continue on and try their best with the work left with the sub and the resources distributed via facebook. I am sure you will gain the rewards for all your hard work. I am looking forward to being back tomorrow (your last school day!), and I am looking forward to seeing you walk across the stage! Congratulations on all your accomplishments and thanks for putting up with me this year!

Progress Report Grades
Some of our grades are not where they should be for a couple of reasons. One possibility is not turning in assignments (look for zeros), or turning work in late (70 max). The other is the quiz grade has not been curved, it will be curved, but I have a few people who were absent and took it late, so until I get theirs graded, I cannot curve the class as a whole. Another thing to look at is there are not many grades in yet, so any missing assignments or low grades are having a big effect at this point. Do not worry, you will most likely be fine by the end of the six weeks, but make sure you are doing your work and turning it in on time. If you feel like there is an error in your grade, please let me know as soon as possible.
